About Paros
Paros, a gem of the Aegean Sea, is one of Greece’s most beloved Cycladic islands. With an area of 196 km² and about 13,000 residents, it combines stunning beaches, charming villages, and a rich cultural history.
The island’s capital, Parikia, is known for its lively harbor, waterfront tavernas, and historic sites, while Naoussa enchants visitors with its whitewashed alleys, vibrant nightlife, and fishing port atmosphere
Paros’ history stretches back to the Neolithic era. In antiquity, it was famed for its pure white marble, used in iconic Greek sculptures, and it remained an important center through Byzantine and Venetian times.
Today, Paros thrives on tourism, offering a mix of natural beauty, tradition, and modern hospitality. Easily reached by ferry or plane, it serves as both a destination and a gateway to the Cyclades.
Beaches
Molos in Paros is a charming sandy beach situated near the village of Marmara.
Marchello Beach in Paros is one of the island's most renowned spots.
Santa Maria in Paros is situated just 2 km from Naoussa.
Monastiri in Paros is situated a few kilometers past Kolymbithres beach, nestled in a rocky bay surrounded by towering hills.
Logaras, situated in the southern part of Paros, is 18 km from Parikia and just a few kilometers from Piso Livadi.

Villages
Kostos, nestled along the route from Parikia to Lefkes in Paros, is a charming village steeped in history.
Aliki, situated on the southern coast of Paros, is a scenic coastal village graced with a charming harbor, just 13km south of Parikia.
Lefkes, nestled in the heart of Paros, stands out as one of the Cyclades' most enchanting villages. Located 11 km southeast of Parikia, it sits at an elevation of 300 meters amidst a lush landscape adorned with olive and pine trees.
Piso Livadi, situated near Marpissa, is approximately 17 km southeast of Parikia in Paros.
Parikia, also known as Paros Town or Chora, serves as the vibrant capital of Paros, housing approximately 3,000 residents.
Marpissa, nestled on the hill of Kefalos overlooking Piso Livadi, lies 18 km southeast of Parikia in Paros.
Attractions
The Archaeological Museum of Paros in Parikia, established in 1960, originally housed artifacts from the Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani.
The Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani in Parikia, Paros, is situated near the island's capital port. It stands as one of Greece's best-preserved Paleo-Christian monuments
The Valley of Butterflies, or Petaloudes in Greek, lies 5 km south of Parikia near the Monastery of Jesus of Woods on Sotires Paros.
Paros Park was established to address the degradation caused by sheep grazing and mass tourism on the peninsula.
The Mycenaean Acropolis at Kolymbithres, Paros, dates back to the 13th century BC. Discovered in 1975, its remains suggest Paros played a significant role in ancient Greek history.

Discover the flavors of Paros with a private hands-on cooking class in the village of Lefkes. Hosted by Cathy and her sister in their historic family home; once the village’s first hotel, the experience brings traditional Greek recipes to life in a warm, authentic setting.
Guests cook and share a meal in a spacious kitchen and veranda overlooking the village. Morning and afternoon sessions are offered throughout the season.

Wineries
Moraitis Winery
Established in 1910, Moraitis Winery is a fourth-generation, family-run estate on the island of Paros. Known as one of Greece’s leading wineries, it produces elegant white, red, and rosé wines from both native and international grapes, grown in vineyards shaped by the island’s distinctive microclimate. Combining traditional methods with sustainable practices, Moraitis Winery continues a proud legacy of winemaking.
The Tour Experience
Step inside Paros’ most historic winery with a guided tour of its century-old estate and underground cellars. Discover the story of the Moraitis family, learn about the island’s unique terroir, and experience the winemaking process up close. The visit concludes with a tasting of three wines, paired with local bread and Parian gruyere.

something fascinating, something that we as humans are not supposed to feel. To create a safe and fun adventure, respecting our aquatic ecosystem and discovering this old yet still not completely revealed world, on a journey that ultimately leads you to self-discovery!
Horse Riding
Experience the island’s beauty from a unique perspective with guided horseback rides along the coast, through the mountains, and tailored for families.
Ride Options
- Seaside Trail Ride – Start at 7:00 am for a 2–2.5 hr coastal route (Xyfara–Santa Maria–Filizi–Abelas), including riding in the sea.
- Mountain Ride – At 6:00 pm, enjoy a 1.5 hr trail through Ysterni–Damoulis–Abelas, with panoramic views before returning to the beach (not in the water).
- Children’s Ride – A 30 min ride for ages 2–7, with an attendant. Parents may join on horseback (extra charge)
- Private Ride – At 10:30 or 11:00 am, a 1.5 hr ride (same route as the Mountain Ride). Minimum 2 participants; book at least 2 days in advance.
All rides run daily with reservations, subject to availability. Times may vary by season.


Antiparos Island
Antiparos is a small and charming island located in the heart of the Cyclades in Greece. What makes Antiparos unique and authentic is its peaceful and laid-back vibe, pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, traditional villages, and unspoiled natural beauty.
The island's traditional villages, such as Antiparos Town and Agios Georgios, are also worth exploring. These charming settlements are home to picturesque alleys, white-washed houses, and beautiful churches, providing a glimpse into the island's rich history and culture.
Finally, Antiparos is a nature lover's paradise. The island has many hiking trails that wind through rugged landscapes, lush forests, and pristine coastline. The famous Antiparos Cave is also a must-visit attraction, offering a stunning underground world of stalactites and stalagmites.
